Department / Unit : Malta North Multspecialty Suite Work Shift : Day (United States of America) Salary Range : $40,495.10 - $52,643.64 Certified Medical Assistant – Full Time Multi-Specialty Office – Malta, NY Work schedule : Monday - Friday (No weekends or holidays) We have an exciting opportunity for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our new Multi-Specialty outpatient office located in Malta, NY This Albany Med Multispecialty clinic provides care by leading specialists in Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, OBGYN, Rheumatology, and UroGyn. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Document information into patient record in an accurate and timely manner
- Maintain timely patient flow
- Ensure that exam rooms are fully stocked and prepared for patient visit
- Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office / provider requirements
- Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider
- Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG, PFT, etc.) Minimum Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Must be certified as a Medical Assistant and have CMA or CCMA certification from an accredited program
- Previous medical / clinical experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
