About the Role
This per diem position requires candidates to work a minimum of 18 hours per month at one of our 10 locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, critical judgment, and the ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and reasoned manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations
- Collect clinical data, including vitals, specimens, and point-of-care testing
- Conduct occupational medicine assessments
- Complete accurate patient coding and maintain detailed medical reports
- Serve as the on-site leader for clinical staff
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must be registered physician assistants or nurse practitioners with valid New York licenses and registration, as well as current DEA certification. A graduate degree from an approved program is also required, along with NCCPA registration and applicable state licensure.
