**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HIV Medicine Clinic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development and implementation of effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients in clinic under the direction of a physician or advanced practice provider.
- Assess and document response to medication and treatments rendered to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and respectful manner.
- Participate in in-office procedures under the direction and supervision of a physician or advanced practice provider.
- Perform diagnostic point-of-care testing and CLIA waived testing per MD/APP order and document results in the electronic health record.
- Facilitate the utilization of resources to meet patient outcomes and contribute to facility, New York State, and National Quality data metrics.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from a state-accredited Registered Nursing program is required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of prior clinical nursing experience is required.
