The Application Specialist is responsible for data reporting, tracking turnaround metrics and supporting technical aspects of the credentialing process for the Albany Med CVO.
This includes maintaining the integrity of the provider database for accurate information on all credentialed providers. This position shall provide input process design to create workflow efficiencies as well as supporting other implementation activities. This position will work with various other departments within Albany Med and its Affiliates to ensure accuracy of information received as well as send data to other receiving areas.
Minimum qualifications are Associate Degree with 3-5 years’ experience using SQL. Additional, candidate needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office, self-motivated and enjoy working on and with teams; ability to work independently and demonstrate analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize, in addition to an attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Work closely with vendor partner to implement latest version of credentialing software.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in math, computer science or business-related field. Proficiency in data analytics, SQL crystal reports & proficiency database management reports.
