Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to lead our Hematology/Oncology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of patient care, mentoring staff, and contributing to the goal setting and defining opportunities for each patient care area.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care within the defined patient care area.
- Mentors staff for the development of a patient care team that demonstrates nursing leadership, professionalism, competency, and quality.
- Contributes to the goal setting and defining of opportunities for each patient care area.
Requirements:
- A Baccalaureate in nursing degree is required, a Master's of Nursing is preferred.
- Must hold current New York State Registered Nurse registration or eligible for licensure in New York State.
- Management experience is preferred.
