Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Nurse to join our team in the Adult Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations. You will work closely with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients and direct and guide ancillary personnel. Your sound nursing judgment will play a crucial role in patient care management decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains standards of professional nursing.
