About the Role
As an Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult patients experiencing actual or potential life-threatening cardiac dysfunction. This includes monitoring patients with invasive monitoring capabilities, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and procedures as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and assess patients' conditions using various diagnostic tests and tools
* Implement physician orders, administer medications, and start IVs as needed
* Perform treatments, procedures, and special tests under the guidance of physicians
* Document treatment plans and patient progress according to company policy and regulatory requirements
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
* Current RN licensure in New York State
* 2 years of experience in cardiac critical care or related field
* Strong knowledge of ACLS guidelines and experience with emergency measures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
