Overview of Job Responsibilities
The Medical Hospitalist Professional will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care.
The successful candidate will work closely with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assess and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Implements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program.
- At least 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
- Knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques, and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
