Medical Imaging Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Albany Medical Center.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in an outpatient urgent care setting. This includes properly identifying and preparing patients for radiologic procedures, performing diagnostic x-ray exams, and maintaining equipment and examination rooms.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration and applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist are required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics necessary to safely perform x-ray exams, as well as excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Properly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures
- Perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures
- Maintain equipment and examination rooms at all times
- Collect vitals and brief medical history of patients
- Directing patients to examination rooms
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registration
- Applicable state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
