Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Pediatrics Neonatology
Albany Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Pediatrics Neonatology. As an advanced practice professional, the NP will play a crucial role in providing family-centered care to patients with specialized health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and management of patients, including ordering diagnostic tests, consultations, therapeutic interventions, and development of individualized care plans.
- Collaboration with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Development and application of specialty practice standards, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Leadership and mentorship roles, including serving as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts and mentoring new staff and physician assistant students.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
