About the Position
This position involves working collaboratively with the nursing team to develop care plans and ensure adherence to health regulations while prioritizing patient needs and quality care. You will also be responsible for evaluating patient responses to care rendered and making sound nursing judgments in patient care management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements individualized care plans
- Administers medications and starts IVs as required
- Collaborates with the nursing team to prioritize patient needs
- Makes sound nursing judgments in patient care management decisions
Requirements
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree
- Hold current NYS Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
