The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a vital member of our Pediatrics Gastroenterology team, working in collaboration with attending physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations, collecting clinical data, including vital signs, and preparing patients for tests, therapy, or treatments.
- Order and interpret medical laboratory test results, diagnose medical conditions, administer medications or treatments, and perform minor surgery as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical reports, manage inventory of medical supplies and instruments, and serve as a resource and team leader during clinical shifts.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed NP - Upon Hire
- ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support - Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support - Upon Hire
