Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner
The Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner is a highly specialized advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who provides comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, complete physical examinations, collect clinical data, and diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, administer medications, and perform minor surgeries as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, primary nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, manage inventory of medical supplies and instruments, and serve as a resource for new staff members and physician assistant students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) upon hire.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
