We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate part-time Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Neonatal ICU team. This position entails working 30 hours per week, with shifts of 5 x 12 hours every two weeks from 7 am to 7 : 30 pm. Weekend and holiday rotations are required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document all treatment in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to accurately assess patients' conditions.
- Continuously assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to the care provided.
- Exercise sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as directed.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
