At Albany Medical Center, we are seeking an experienced PACU RN to join our team. This Monday through Friday day shift position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing treatments and procedures. You will also assess and evaluate patient needs, responding to care rendered and applying sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
We value teamwork and collaboration, and this role requires working closely with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients. Additionally, you will direct and guide ancillary personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing and promoting quality concepts and principles.
