The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats injury, disease, and other conditions of health. Physical Therapy includes the performance and interpretation of tests and measurements to assess pathological and developmental deficits of human systems. Physical Therapists help people with physical injuries or illnesses regain range of movement and control their pain. Physical Therapists help individuals who have lost motor function due to accidents, illness or age. They help determine the root causes of the trauma, counsel patients, and work with them to create a plan for rehabilitation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Administers patient evaluation and treatments employing physical therapy modalities, procedures, and interventions.
- Schedules patients, maintains written and verbal communication regarding patient and departmental concerns, submits accurate billing information within insurance restrictions.
- Maintains department productivity expectations and documents at point of service.
- Participates in rotations in all clinical areas.
- Participates in teaching, including annual in-service to peers.
- Participates as a clinical instructor for students.
- Supervises PTA’s and PT aides.
- Promotes and contributes to all sanitary and housekeeping policies which are designed to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all clinic and general staff areas.
- Participates with the department quality improvement activities.
