Job Title: Neonatal ICU Registered Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal ICU team on a full-time day shift basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires a Weekend and Holiday Rotation and involves implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, while documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assesses and evaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- DIRECTS AND GUIDES ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
- Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
