Job Summary : The Senior Surgical Trauma Nurse contributes to a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through active listening and a display of kindness. This position requires implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, and evaluating diagnostic tests. The successful candidate will assess patient needs and responses to care, apply sound nursing judgment, and collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Graduate of a professional academic nursing program
- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
