Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for Medical Imaging Techs to join our team at Saugerties EmUrgentCare sites. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for properly identifying and preparing patients for radiologic procedures, performing diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Properly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care setting.
- Accurately select the correct patient, anatomy and protocols to complete exam.
- Confirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures in computer and site schedules.
- Clean and maintain equipment and examination rooms at all times.
- Collect vitals and brief medical history of patients.
- Directing patients to examination rooms.
- Ensuring rooms are setup for efficient patient care.
- Ordering and re-stocking of medical supplies.
- Team support to medical providers and front desk.
