OVERVIEW
We are looking for an organized Senior Billing Specialist with strong time management skills for our office here in Bethlehem, PA. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the customer billing process in an accurate and timely manner. GENERAL INFORMATION
- Reports to Corporate Controller but works closely with all Project Managers, Estimators and
- other field personnel.
- Normal working hours are Monday thru Friday between 8:00AM to
- 5:00PM. Some flexibility required to meet coverage in a small business office. No routine
- weekend hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES
- Maintains accurate NR files, ensuring accurate set-up of all contract invoicing
- procedures, and supports the regional offices in all matters related to billing and accounts
- receivable management.
- Reviews all contract documents to assess billing and lien waiver requirements.
- Coordinates all monthly invoicing requirements with Project Managers, Estimators, Field Superintendents and/or Job Foreman.
- Gathers information to complete invoices and prepare for billing.
- Verifies the accuracy of data by analyzing purchase orders, sales tickets and charge slips before
- writing invoices.
- Verifies and compares job costs against payroll and purchasing reports for
- accuracy.
- Revises billing errors and prepares customer statements as required.
- Supports the accounts payable input process as necessary to generate accurate month-to-month billing.
- Provides ongoing analysis of company operations and processes to devise specific strategies
- that address weaknesses and promote improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years general accounting office and/or billing experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and its procedures, including a knowledge of sales/use tax.
- Experience with inventory cost and material pricing.
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction
- accounting software a plus.
- Excellent organizational, oral, written and interpersonal skills required; must be a self-motivated
- individual.
- Team player in a small office environment.
- Strong customer service mindset and approach to business.
- Strong attention to detail, must have the ability to prioritize work, analyze information, identify
- discrepancies as well as meet deadlines.

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
