Performs responsible para-professional, clerical and human support work assisting in student management of in school suspensions; does related work as required.
Essential Functions
General knowledge of student instruction and management practices, procedures and techniques; general knowledge of school system rules and procedures for classroom, halls, cafeteria, library and transportation; general knowledge of subject areas in class levels to which assigned; ability to guide, direct, teach, and control students; ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers, principals and other school personnel; ability to type basic records; ability to operate audio-visual equipment.
Education And Experience
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school including clerical training.

- Coordinate with teachers and students schedules to schedule tests.
- Organize tests with the request forms.
- Issue passes to testers.
- Make sure accommodations for testers are met.
- File & return any completed work in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
- Supervise students during in school suspension to include collecting assignments, reviewing assignments, answering questions, providing encouragement;
- Supervise ISS students during break and lunch period;
- Complete ISS student assignment sheets and distribute some;
- Collect, arrange and make ISS assignments according to each student;
- Records attendance and makes appropriate reports;
- Review and enforce ISS rules;
- Enter student data on computer database;
- Perform clerical duties to support submitting quarterly reports;
- Other duties as assigned.
