As a Sheet Metal Mechanic Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work in a well-established company with a history of profitability and a wide footprint across the southern east coast of the United States.
Sheet Metal Mechanic Apprentice Responsibilities:
- Residential HVAC and/or Plumbing experience preferred
- Read and comprehend blueprints & develops additional sketches if needed
- Measures,cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or direction
- Connects pieces or secrues seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws
- Shutdown and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation
- Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs
Sheet Metal Apprentice Requirements:
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successful completion of criminal background and MVR check to company standard
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
