What are the responsibilities and job description for the NUTRITIONIST I position at Albemarle Regional Health Services?
This position will provide nutrition services to client’s eligible for the Special Supplemental food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and related clinics. Position may provide other nutritionist duties as assigned. Work in this class involves providing professional nutritional services with a significant amount of time being spent serving clients with comprehensive nutrition needs or coordinating the activities of a limited and small nutrition program while providing limited, professional direct client nutrition services. This position will provide comprehensive nutrition assessment, evaluation, intervention, and follow-up as per the specifications of each program. This position is a partnership between Martin Tyrrell Washington District Health and Albemarle Regional Health Services. The position is planned to spend 2-3 days per week at one of the MTW offices and 2-3 days per week in either Bertie, Chowan, and/or Hertford counties. The base location is planned to be at the Bertie County Health Department in Windsor, NC.
