Job Description
Position Title: Member Service Facility Support (MSFS)
Reports To: Member Services Director
Position Summary:
Member Service Facility Support (MSFS) is a key part of our Member Service team, working alongside front desk staff to provide outstanding customer service and ensure the YMCA remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests. The MSFS plays a hands-on role in supporting the operations of the facility during evenings and weekends, addressing member needs, maintaining a safe environment, and completing light facility cleaning tasks.
- Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Facility Support:
- Collaborate with the Member Service team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Provide tours of the facility to potential members, showcasing its features and benefits.
- Walk through the building regularly to ensure member safety and satisfaction.
Facility Maintenance:
- Perform light janitorial tasks such as refilling supplies, cleaning spills, and tidying common areas.
- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, addressing any issues promptly.
Event Support:
- Setup and teardown of bounce houses and other equipment for events or programs (must be able to lift 75 lbs).
- Birthday Party Support - prep party area, go over rules with participants, clean up afterwards
Safety & Compliance:
- Act as an additional set of eyes and ears for member safety, addressing any concerns and reporting issues to the appropriate team members.
General Duties:
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Member Service Director to support the smooth operation of the YMCA.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform cleaning tasks.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Pay: $11.15 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
