What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Filing Clerk position at Albert & Mackenzie?
Job Purpose:
The E-Filing Clerk is responsible for e-filing various types of documents and forms in EAMS for defense workers’ compensation firm, and creating/managing client, adjuster, and employer contact cards.
Responsibilities:
- E-file settlement documents for walkthroughs
- E-file various eForms within CA workers’ compensation EAMS system
- E-file pleadings, letters, trial exhibits, etc.
- Serve e-filed documents to the client and other parties
- Bill for copies and postage
- Create and edit contact cards in A1
- Do individual and mass updates in A1 when there are changes in adjusters and employer contacts
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets of card changes*
Skills:
- EAMS Case Management System experience
- Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Adobe)
- Legal Case Management Software, VTransact a plus*
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have pride in work product. This is a fast-paced position that requires the ability to handle a high volume of work, and work independently.
Compensation: $18.00 - 21.00/ hour
