What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance Worker position at Albert Township?
Responsible and accountable for the buildings and grounds under the control of Albert Township. Performs duties in accordance with maintenance responsibilities. To work with and under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Manual Labor.
Mow grass, trim trees, run backpack blower, run weed trimmer, pick up dog waste and all objects at:
- Albert Township Hall and Village Park
- Albert Township Main and East Cemeteries
- All parks
- Public beach
- Maintenance garage and transfer site
- Ball diamonds and dug outs
- Downtown to beach sidewalk
3. Clean sidewalks, run power washer, paint, beach and restrooms.
4. Rake leaves and pine needles in all parks, cemeteries, and beach.
5. Maintain Garbage cans.
6. Other duties:
- Open and close all graves, possible weekends.
- Work Transfer Site when needed.

Maintenance Supervisor/Supervisor/Albert Township Board
As determined by Albert Township Schedule of Wages/Employee Handbook and/or the Albert Township Board.
- High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.
- Knowledge and skill to handle equipment.
- Clear Driver’s License and be able back up a trailer.
- Knowledge and ability to repair service and maintain township properties and equipment.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Be able to pass a drug screening and physical exam.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
