ABOUT THE ROLE
AUI Fine Foods is excited and committed to growing our sales team. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to contribute to the overall growth of a defined regional portfolio with a focus on Foodservice Distribution, In-Store Bakeries (ISB) and Food Manufacturing customers.
The Corporate Account Manager | In-Store Bakery, Distribution, & Manufacturing is a quota carrying sales position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our existing presence in the distribution, ISB and food manufacturing sectors, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving sales growth while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities within these sectors. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record in account management and business development.
The ideal candidate must possess strong sales and leadership skills and have the ability and confidence to interact with both internal and external executive level leadership teams. They should exhibit critical thinking skills that can help develop meaningful solutions for our customers and have a general manager mindset to drive overall growth of the region. You will work with a dynamic team dedicated to providing the highest quality of products while developing meaningful and strategic partnerships with our valued customers.
Location: Remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Direct account management of existing customers with a focus on foodservice distributors, ISB and food manufacturers
- New customer acquisition in defined segments
- Support and promote the AUI brands through product demonstrations, training, distributor shows, end-user engagement and ride-alongs. Facilitate product integration through new product demonstrations and sampling
- Facilitate quarterly / mid-year / annual business review processes with customers ensuring consistent contact, follow-up on new business opportunities
- Maintain and negotiate pricing agreement and renewals with internal support
- CRM documentation of all activity around the customer for ongoing reference, performance management, and future internal growth
- Participate in various national & regional trade shows where appropriate
- Possess in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and effectively communicate the unique selling points to potential clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required
- 5 years of prior account/sales management experience
- 5 years of experience in the food industry; in particular, foodservice distribution, ISB, and manufacturing sales
- Proven Leadership capabilities
- General understanding of a P&L and forecasting abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills in front of groups of all sizes
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Culinary Arts Degree
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with experience using a CRM program
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
SALARY RANGE
AUI Fine Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways AUI Fine Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $100,000 - $115,000.
This role is bonus eligible.
Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion the salary offered.
