What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kerr Bikes Lead Staff position at Albertina Kerr Centers?
We're seeking staff for our Kerr Bikes rental store!
Kerr Bikes provides the public with seasonal bike rental services, bicycle service, kayak rental, and adaptive equipment recreation for the benefit of non-profit Albertina Kerr.
As the Kerr Bikes Lead staff you may delegate tasks to other employees and will perform bike maintenance as needed.

Essential Duties:
- Consistently uses Standard Operating Procedures to rent equipment and complete tasks
- Performs bike maintenance and repairs when not interacting with customers
- Ensures rental assets and shop is secured
- Acts within the interests of Kerr Bikes and creates value while on shift, encouraging other staff to do the same
- Keeps tidy environment and organizes parts/tools during downtime
- Completes daily and weekly logs on repair, inventory, register counts, and other reports as required
- Communicates to manager any repairs needed, parts needed, and repairs completed
- Effectively uses time keeping app
- Responsible for store in managers absence
- Prepares daily register reports, holds shop keys, makes bank deposits, gets change as needed, opens and closes store, etc.
- Other duties as required
- Comfortable working alone
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to lift 100 lbs, continuously bending, squatting, twisting and standing for long periods
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of maintenance of bicycles
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to meet all background check, reference, and/or credentialing requirements
