Job Summary
We are looking for an Marine Parts Assistant to join the team at our busy marine/retail store. If you are a mechanically-inclined marine or auto professional with strong management and communication skills, we want to hear from you.
As a Parts Assistant, you work directly with customers to fulfill their marine vessel parts and accessories needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they arrive
- Create a professional environment that builds rapport and puts customers at ease
- Answer customer questions about marine products
- Ensure service department parts needs are met.
- Work with vendor representatives
- Monitor inventory and maintain volume and pricing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Prior sales experience in a dealership or showroom setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage time and serve customers with little supervision
- Ability to work weekends.
Salary : $17 - $26
