What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Travel Lift and Equipment Operator position at Albertson Marine?
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Marine Travel Lift and Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you are responsible for the movement of all vessels located in the facility for haul & launch, designated work and storage. You will operate marina equipment, including travel lifts, forklifts, hydraulic trailers and other machinery to safely move, store and launch boats. In addition, you will inspect, maintain and repair equipment when necessary to ensure operational.
The entire team at the marina is also responsible for the upkeep and curb appeal of the facility making sure we are able to appease boaters at all times. This includes some light maintenance duties on the docks, grounds and buildings.
This position requires some holiday and weekend hours.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and hands-on with the ability to perform basic boat maintenance and minor repairs, as well as assist with general marina upkeep and property maintenance. Additional experience in boat maintenance and repair is a plus. Having mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of boat maintenance tasks and the ability to operate marine equipment is a requirement. Travel lift/Boat Forklift certification is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
