What You Will Be Doing
As a Supervisor & Buyer / Planner, you will be responsible for leading plant operations while managing procurement and inventory planning to ensure seamless production flow. Your role will involve balancing daily supervision with supply chain responsibilities to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate raw material and packaging purchases to meet production demands.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, preventing shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure supply chain alignment.
- Analyze usage trends and forecast material needs based on production schedules.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and company policies.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance management for team members.
- Assist in budget planning and cost control related to purchasing and production.
