What You Will Be Doing
As a Legal Analyst, Privacy Technology, you will play a key role in assessing, implementing, and maintaining privacy-enhancing technologies and compliance solutions. This position collaborates closely with legal, IT, security, and data governance teams to ensure privacy controls are integrated into business processes and technology systems. The analyst evaluates risks, supports privacy-by-design initiatives, and enhances automation for regulatory compliance.
The position will be based inBoise, ID or one of our main regional offices Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Pleasanton, CA; Los Angeles, CA;Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Philadelphia, PA; or Boston, MA.
Main Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation, deployment, and configuration of privacy-enhancing technologies
- Work with engineering, IT, and security teams to integrate privacy requirements into existing and new systems
- Monitor and enhance tools for data subject requests fulfillment, cookies consent management, and preference centers
- Perform privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments for new and existing technologies
- Identify and escalate risk related to data collection, processing, storage, and sharing
- Assist in audits, regulatory inquiries, and documentation of compliance activities
- Support data mapping initiatives, ensuring accurate data flow documentation across systems
- Provide guidance on technical privacy best practices and assist in training efforts
- Stay informed on emerging privacy technology and industry trends

What We Are Searching For
- 2 years of experience in privacy, computer science, information systems and technology, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in the evaluation and deployment of privacy-enhancing technologies and working with privacy tools
- Familiarity with privacy laws and frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPT, or CIPM are a plus
- Technical understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, tag management, etc., is a plus
- Basic knowledge of coding or automation tools is a plus
