What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Associate position at Albertsons Market?

A Day in the Life:
The Home Shopper provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The Home Shopper, with the use of a computer, is responsible for compiling online merchandise orders for customers. The Home Shopper will process approximately 10 to 20 orders per day. Using a handheld computer and a printed list of items the Home Shopper will retrieve items from the shelves to fill the on-line order, checking and bagging requested grocery items. Once the order is complete the Home Shopper will return to the processing area for verification and load the order into the customer's vehicle. The Home Shopper is responsible for accurate and timely assembly of customer's online product orders from the store shelves to the vehicle.
Scan Clerk
As a primary contact for customers, the File Maintenance Clerk/Scan Clerk (FMC) provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The FMC is responsible for pricing integrity throughout the store. Ensures that price tags that are placed throughout the store are consistent with item prices as recorded on the store computer. The FMC is responsible for acceptable pricing integrity compliance scores. Researches and corrects incorrect prices. Prints and hangs shelf tags and display signs in the correct place. Assists departments with price changes. Communicates all pricing errors to Corporate Pricing. Executes price cycles. Audits prices throughout the store for accuracy. Is responsible for the new item placement report. The position is hourly non-exempt. The FMC reports to the Store Director, 1st and 2nd Assistant Manager or Person in Charge.
Bookkeeping
Exemplifies and ensures strong customer service in all areas of the job. Performs store level cash handling, customer service desk operations, and human resources and personnel functions. Responsible for the completion of the daily reconciliation funds handling and other recording and balancing functions. Provides accurate records of store sales and related transactions while supporting store sales, operating plan, and service levels.
