We are looking for a competent restaurant servers to serve food and beverages to the guests in a friendly, courteous, timely and efficient manner, exceeding guest expectations and allowing for complete guest satisfaction.
You’ll be responsible for our customers’ experiences within the Albertsons dining area. Servers will also be responsible for maintaining a culture of food and drink exploration, innovation and dedication for customers / employees. Our servers responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite / friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a consistently high level customer service to each customer and maintain a safe environment by identifying any issues.
- Take and serve orders as well as answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of beverage and cocktail services, knowledge of menu items and the art of “up-selling.”
- Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company's guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally.
- Communicates well with both FOH and BOH staff ensuring all guest expectations are exceeded in food preparation and service.
- Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar satisfied at all times.
- Uphold set standard and enforce food and drink preparations and handling ensuring compliance with company food safety policy.
- Deal with complaints and/or problems with a positive attitude
- Bring checks/tickets to tables and accept payment
Skills:
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties with a POS
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- High school diploma is a plus but not required
Physical Environment:
- Required to stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop.
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds.
- Be able to perform all physical aspects of the position, such as bending, squatting, climbing and walking.
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
