Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting bakery items and provide recommendations
- Package and label bakery products for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery department
- Receive and stock bakery inventory, rotating products to ensure freshness
- Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Prepare bakery items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with catering orders and special requests
Skills:
- Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of baked goods and their ingredients
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging and labeling of products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
Shifts may vary, Baker is 3am-11:30, clerk is 10:30-7pm
