What you will be doing
Financial Business Systems Analyst Lead will focus on accounting for Internally Developed Software (IDS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) project and work closely with shared services functions (e.g., IT, Finance, PMO, Sourcing, etc.) on initiatives to optimize end-to-end technology accounting processes. This role will also monitor that our internal controls are effectively integrated into our daily processes. Establishing a culture of continuous improvement and helping the organization to manage accounting for software costs efficiently through robust control frameworks and process standardization. This role will be critical in process standardization and re-engineering.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA or Portland, OR.
Main responsibilities
- Collaborate with Fixed Asset Project Accounting (FAPA), IT, and finance teams to address close related items throughout the monthly close process.
- Review and maintain accuracy and completeness of data on the ART Conclusion site as a source to record accounting entries.
- Assist in the monitoring and processing of IT's time and labor within MPO and aciFlex time tracking systems.
- Assist in the oversight of Project Certification, including follow-up on responses from project managers.
- Assist in preserving integrity of the fixed bid process through maintenance of SOW template.
- Collaborate with IT and IT FP&A as a participant in the asset impairment review process.
- Identify opportunities to optimize end-to-end processes within Accounting, FAPA and the Software Capitalization process.
- Ensure that control measures are effectively integrated into daily processes.
- Perform trend analysis to anticipate potential challenges and implement preventive measures to mitigate.
- Support Master Data governance to drive standard definition and alignment across all existing systems / processes. Support business requirement and testing for system related changes.
The salary range is $82,900 to $107,680 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
