What you will be doing
The Line Service Technician provides basic services to the corporate aircraft such as marshaling, towing, fueling, and aircraft detailing/cleaning and light facility maintenance. The Line Service Technician must have a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, receiving instructions and confirming details. We are seeking candidates with friendly and outgoing personalities who have experience providing quality customer service, the ability to work flexible hours as needed and the desire to work in an aviation setting.
The Line Service Technician (LST) serves as an essential part of the Albertsons corporate flight department. The LST supports the overall operations and upkeep of the ground operations and ensures all company policies and safety regulations under his or her assigned duties are followed on each shift. The LST represents Albertsons Companies in a positive and professional manner while interacting and upholding excellent relationships with passengers, and fellow team members.
The position will be based in Boise, ID.
Main responsibilities
- Marshalling aircraft through arrivals and departures, moving aircraft.
- Greeting passengers and assisting flight crews with baggage handling going on or coming off aircraft.
- Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, lavatory, water, and cleaning/detailing.
- Perform fuel quality control inspections on fuel farm and fuel deliveries with accurate completion of records paperwork.
- Assist in keeping facility clean and orderly, e.g., hangar floors, parking lots and office spaces, snow removal and light landscape upkeep.
- Communicate regularly with Chief of Maintenance on work progress, significant issues that arise, resources or training to perform better, or supply inventory items needed to be ordered when low or replaced.
- Ensuring a safe environment by complying with company procedures/policies, local, state and federal regulations.

What we are searching for
- Possess and maintain valid state driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a Boise Airport Security/TSA background check.
- Have previous experience in aircraft line service and aircraft detailing or equivalent (strongly preferred but not required).
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and various degrees of aircraft noise.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and occasional above groundwork with ladders and manlift.
