What you will be doing
To manage injection services and take ownership of the results. Work closely with the department Director to formulate strategies, collaborate with operations to create tactics and initiatives to exceed KPI and revenue targets. Ensure Albertsons Companies remain on the cutting edge of pharmacy practice by being an early adopter of services enabled by legislation or payer partnership.
The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Pleasanton CA, Denver CO, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, Phoenix, AZ).
Main responsibilities
- Manage project implementation by advising and working closely with Operations, PCSMs and other business functional areas.
- Advise and implement corporate initiatives to drive KPIs.
- Advise division Patient Care Services Managers on how to drive KPIs and provide mentorship to develop local experts.
- Communicate KPI reporting and tactics that will drive results to division operations, including DPO's and DPM's.
- Create the financial evaluation and determine ROI for initiatives.
- Implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) policies to ensure standardization of education and training needs.
- Create and implement policies, procedures, service outlines and educational materials to reflect updated guidelines and legal requirements.
- Advise on systems enhancements for patient care services.
- Work closely with the procurement department to manage the purchasing of vaccines, supplies and devices necessary to provide patient care services in our pharmacies
- Collaborate with pharmacy systems department to develop and oversee implementation of clinical systems.
- Develop communication to divisions, leadership, and business functional groups regarding planning performance and operational challenges and successes.
- Manage the content pertaining to patient care services posted on the internal website.
- Manage daily operations of patient care services as issues are escalated by division Patient Care Services Managers.
- Manage relationships with vendors and other business partners to collaborate on key initiatives.
- Oversee travel health program and drive KPIs.
- Identifies opportunities and risks from financial trends and presents findings to management
The salary range is $102,700 to $143,800 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching for
- 5 Years Registered Pharmacist
- 1-2 yrs or more of experience in providing a wide variety of patient care services (preferred 2 Years Patient Care Services Manager experience)
- Skilled at Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Community Pharmacy Residency experience
- BPS certification in Ambulatory Care
