Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cut Fruit Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging fresh cut fruit for our customers in a grocery store environment. This position is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut various types of fruit according to established guidelines and standards.
• Ensure all fruit is fresh, visually appealing, and properly packaged for sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fruit preparation area.
• Assist customers with inquiries about products, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately during transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate measurement and pricing.
• Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a positive shopping experience.
• Ability to supervise and train new staff members when necessary.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for processing sales transactions.
