What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Intern position at Albin Engineering Services, Inc.?
AESI is looking for an eager, creative social media intern to join our team and be driving force of our marketing efforts. Your work would be posted on our social media accounts and you'll be working on increasing engagement and page visits. This will be a remote, part time position that will be working 10-hour work weeks up until the end of December 2024.
Responsibilities Include :
Social Media Strategy and Content Management :
Execute social media strategy and assist the company in the design, execution and management of content across various platforms (LinkedIn & MailChimp).
Content Creation :
Create and distribute content such as infographics, videos and photos on social media.
Design graphics to help share current job openings, industry news, staffing tips & other relevant topics
Write social media captions, blogs, testimonials to improve brand awareness
Community Management :
Assist in monitoring comments on social media posts, engaging with followers, and identifying and flagging posts if we have been tagged or mentioned.
Track social media engagement and trends to increase visibility and visits on platforms.
Active engagement on accounts including responding to comments & DMs & interacting with potential clients
Creative Brainstorming and Ideation :
Create and provide ideas for social media campaigns and content
Perform social media research on both competitive brands, industry and target markets
Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
Suggest new strategies for increasing engagement.
Requirements :
A college student : junior or senior preferred. Open to newly graduated college students and graduate students
Preferred degrees in Business, Marketing, Sales, Graphic Design
3.5 GPA and above
10 hours a week - flexible schedule
Portfolio of Work (Posts, Reels, Blogs, Captions)
Creative Individual with experience in one of the following or something similar : Adobe - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, CapCut
Excellent writing skills
Familiarity with LinkedIn
Ability to work independently
Eagerness to learn and willingness to ask questions
Resourceful attitude and keen attention to detail
Preferred Skills :
Previous internship or experience in social media marketing
