Description
Albion College invites applications for the Assistant Director of Housing and Operations position. The Assistant Director of Housing and Operations (ADHO) reports to the Director of Community Living and Student Conduct. The ADHO manages all aspects of housing operations including: departmental operations calendar, occupancy, student service and support, housing assignments, coding and billing, and building operations for 1500 undergraduate students. The ADHO leads creation and updating of annual communications and marketing plans for prospective and current students and campus partners related to on-campus living. The ADHO also assists with enrollment initiatives, housing policy updates, residential opening/closing processes, and central office management and assists the Director of Community Living and Student Conduct with all student and stakeholder inquiries. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and assess a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. The ADHO will actively promote diversity, belonging and equity in all of their interactions with others on campus, especially historically marginalized students, faculty, and staff (e.g., those who are historically marginalized, first-generation, undocumented and DACA, LGBTQIA , BIPOC).

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Masters degree preferred
- 3-5 years of successful student life or housing related experience and/or training
- Experience utilizing eRezLife and Slate technology or similar software systems that support a residential life/conduct program is preferred
