Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $67,000.00 Annually
Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for the faculty and coordinator position for the Bachelor’s in Psychology in Spanish Online academic program in Miami. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and coordinating program activities. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work while contributing to a dynamic and innovative academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective course content for undergraduate students in the Bachelor’s in Psychology in Spanish Online academic program.
- Oversee all aspects of program administration, including curriculum development, scheduling, and student advising.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback to support academic growth and success.
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of psychology.
- Lead all areas of the program development, collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and administration to enhance program quality and student outcomes.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and support to students in their academic and professional development.
- Recruit, hire, and train adjunct faculty to ensure high-quality instruction and support for the program.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, PsyD, etc.) preferred in a relevant discipline or area of course content.
- Full professional proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Strong research skills with the ability to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in psychology.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards and accessibility guidelines in higher education.
- Proven experience in teaching at the higher education level, preferably in an online format.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
