As a checker you are a valuable member of our team, as you are probably the last person in the store to have contact with the customer. The impression you leave with customers is the last impression they have with the store. A smile costs nothing, but goes a long way. Courteous, prompt and accurate service will leave this good impression and keep the customers coming back. Each and every store builds its business on well-trained associates, top quality merchandise and thoughtful courteous treatment of customers.

Duties include but are not limited to.....

1. Make sure your balance sheet is filled out properly.
2. Check out customers’ purchases efficiently and accurately.
3. Accept payment for purchases and return change.
4. Bag customers’ purchases and ask if they would like help out.
5. Maintain adequate supply of change in your cash drawer.
6. Control cash in your drawer by doing pick ups.
7. Keep your check stand neat and clean daily.
8. Keep shopping carts in orderly manner

Qualifications
