What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct in English Composition 2025-2026 position at Albright College?
Albright College’s Department of English seeks applications for multiple adjunct faculty positions to teach first-year writing. Successful candidates will teach one or two sections of English 101, the first course in our two-semester first-year composition sequence.
All instructors teaching English 101 at Albright teach a shared curriculum. All course materials, including course syllabus and Canvas shell template, as well as a pre-semester overview of the curriculum, will be provided upon hire.

Required Qualifications:
· MA in English, Rhetoric and Writing Studies, or a closely related field
Preferred Qualifications:
· PhD in English, Rhetoric and Writing Studies, or a closely related field; or MFA in creative writing
· Experience with in-person and technologically enhanced teaching
· Evidence of positive contributions to team projects and working environments
· Fluency in Spanish, preferred
