The Department of Art, Game and Simulation Development, and Computer Science at Albright College invites applications for a full-time Faculty of Computer Science (non-tenure track). We seek an innovative and passionate educator to help shape and grow our interdisciplinary programs, particularly our Game and Simulation Development offerings. The successful candidate should be academically or professionally qualified to teach (industry experience accepted).
Position Overview: We are seeking a candidate with a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for game and simulation development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our Game and Simulation Development program and contribute to core computer science courses. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a growing program at the intersection of technology, art, and creativity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates with a Master's degree and significant industry experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated knowledge and teaching experience in Python, C , C#, and other relevant programming languages.
Expertise in Game and Simulation Development, including gaming physics and mathematics.
Experience teaching foundational computer science courses such as Algorithm Design and Analysis, Discrete Structures, and Computing Principles preferred, or equivalent industry experience accepted.
