What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty of Fashion position at Albright College?
Opportunity to join a growing fashion department as a Faculty of Fashion. Depending upon candidate credentials tenure-track may be available. Candidate should be student-centric and enthusiastic about contributing to the success of a well-established and growing fashion department. The ideal candidate is a versatile teacher, with demonstrated teaching excellence, able to synthesize practical and academic experiences within a liberal arts education. Proficiency in all aspects of fashion design is required, including knowledge and experience in conceptual design, CAD, illustration, and product development.
Qualifications:
PhD in Fashion or related field, MFA or MA/MS degree in Fashion or related field.
Evidence of proficiency in Fashion illustration and fashion design as well as CAD skills.
Experience in teaching college-level courses.
Instructor candidates must hold a Master’s degree.
Fluency in Spanish, preferred.
