What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Faculty for Undergraduate Accounting and Business Program position at Albright College?
Albright College's School of Professional Studies and Department of Business, Accounting & Economics, a dynamic and inclusive learning community, seek part-time instructors to teach asynchronous online courses in business and accounting. Online accelerated courses meet for 7.5 weeks. We especially seek accounting, management information systems, management and marketing faculty, though other specialties in business are welcome to apply. Course development can begin immediately for Spring 2025 and courses may also be available in Summer 2025.
Successful candidates will have a Master's degree or higher in a related discipline and reside in the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware or New York. Evidence of successful, effective teaching experience is preferred, as is experience using a standard learning management system such as Canvas. Training or certification in online teaching, such as Quality Matters or equivalent, is desirable. Demonstration of related industry experience is also valued.
Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching business in an interdisciplinary liberal arts environment.
