Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Finishers to join our construction team (2 years minimum experience is Required). As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Prevailing wage projects will be available for highly skilled applicants.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and compacting
- Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using various tools
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools
- Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect the concrete
- Repair damaged concrete surfaces as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
- 2 Years Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher required
- Strong knowledge of concrete installation techniques and finishing methods
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work is a must
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Skills:
- Concrete Finishing, Screeding, Leveling, Bull Floating, Brooming Required
- Concrete Form Setting
- Knowledge of Elevations, Slopes, Grades
- Straight Tooled Joints
