Summary - Recruiter-HR Specialist / Front Office Assistant is responsible for recruiting new employees, communicating with clients, managers, and employees, answering phone calls for pick ups or fielding all other calls, handling clerical tasks in our office, greeting walk-ins, problem solving for Albuquerque Mail Service Inc, responsibilities include but not limited to :
Job Duties :
- Collaborate with Management about hiring needs setting qualification criteria for future employees.
- Knowledgeable about trucking industry.
- Advertising open roles.
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Hiring the most qualified applicant, checking background, and references.
- Onboarding / Orientation for new hires.
- Explaining the job’s benefits, policies, and parameters to applicants.
- Processing hiring & term paperwork, while keeping all employee records up to date.
- Ensuring all DOT guidelines are met and DQF Files are maintained.
- Daily use of MS Office, HireRight, TenStreet, really, and more.
- Screening, answering incoming phone calls and other communications.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Managing filing system.
- Office Supply Inventory.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Performing general office clerk duties and errands
- Supporting Management in front office tasks.
- Perform any other work as directed by Manager or Owner

- Required - Must have a valid driver’s license
- Required - High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred - A degree in business, human resources, communications, or a similar field of study.
- Or 2 years of professional work experience in DOT Hiring Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
