What are the responsibilities and job description for the ANALYST BUSINESS OPERATIONS position at Albuquerque Public Schools?
Provides support to District ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) users in troubleshooting applications, supporting ERP system such as RQC, approvals and associated user accounts, tracking requisition to check processes and ensuring users have appropriate security roles.
An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Supports all self-service application modules, acting as a support to end users with problem solving, training program assistance and promotion of System use and features.
- Keeps well informed of application and promotes its use to maximum potential.
- Confers with users to identify needs and advises or recommends problems-solving strategies.
- Designs, develops and maintains and updates user documentation relating to ERP application and user training.
- Implements new and/or improved processes.
- Creates User Accounts, ensures appropriate security roles and cost account rights.
- Evaluates and communicates to leadership any changes and/or recommendations to processes, reports, and/or System changes.
- Assists with developing user training – virtual, online and in person.
- Assist in the preparation of various forms when necessary.
- Provides customer service by taking phone calls, answering emails, work-order system and remoting into users’ computers as required.
- Assist in the development of custom reporting by providing input to report developers.
- Maintains security, integrity and confidentiality of all ERP related functions.
- Works with other Finance Department Users and Other special projects as assigned.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility, organization, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with diverse populations in-person and on the telephone.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects.
- Proficient with word processing, database and spreadsheet software skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
- Ability to managing complex and demanding situations.
- Knowledge of public school procedures in regard to administrative matters.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in closely related field, OR
- Associates Degree in closely related field and 2 years of relevant experience, OR
- HS Diploma/GED and five years of experience in ERP use and/or support.
